Silver & Gold Cremation Urns

Cremation urns handcrafted by D’Argenta in Mexico, finished with the same hand-work as its sculpture rather than a simplified, purely utilitarian design. Each one is signed and arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity. Prices run from $1,241 to $2,181 USD.

Silver cremation urns

Silver-finished urns. Care is simple: dust with a soft, dry cloth, and keep metal polishes and cleaning agents away from the finish.

Gold cremation urn

24K gold-finished. Gold-finished pieces hold their color well; an occasional wipe with a dry, soft cloth is the only upkeep. The same square, rounded form is also made in silver.

Before you choose

What to know, plainly.

Are these urns solid sterling silver?

No. The silver and gold on these urns is a finish over the underlying metal, which is why we call them silver-finished and gold-finished. They are not solid sterling silver or solid gold, and we do not describe them that way.

How much do these urns hold?

Interior capacity is not printed on the product pages yet, so we will not guess at it. Write to a curator with the piece you are considering and we will confirm the capacity with D’Argenta before you order.

Can an urn be engraved?

Yes. Every piece can carry an engraved nameplate, which adds one week to processing. Engraved pieces are made to order and are not eligible for return unless there is a manufacturing defect.

How long does delivery take, and what does it cost?

Handling and production typically take 2–17 days depending on the piece, and transit adds about another week. Shipping is insured and costs $200 USD on orders of $2,000 USD or less, and is complimentary on orders above that. Your curator confirms the exact window when your order is confirmed. If you are working to a date, tell us before you order.

What is the return policy?

You have 180 days from delivery to start a return, with prior authorization. Returns are credited as Venustare store credit rather than refunded to the original payment method, and a 70% restocking fee applies. Return shipping is paid by the customer. The full terms are on the Shipping & Returns page.

What comes with the urn?

Each urn is handcrafted by D’Argenta, a Mexican silversmithing house established in 1976, and arrives with a signed Certificate of Authenticity in gift-ready packaging. Repairs are honored for the life of the piece.
